Failte Cottage , Rinevilla Bay, Co.Clare, Ireland SITUATION The cottage is one of a small group of three houses, facing south on the edge of Rinevilla Bay, which is on the Shannon Estuary. It is nearest the sea wall, twenty feet from the shore. Carrigaholt is a small fishing village about 2 miles away, which provides a post office, police station, shops, RC church, doctor's surgery, primary school, takeaway and several pubs/restaurants. The coast of Kilkee and Kilrush are within a 6 to 10 mile radius of the cottage.
THE COTTAGE
This was once a fisherman's cottage, built circa 1840,one, with the best views of the Bay and the Shannon, and one of the oldest detached cottages still remaining at Rinevilla. However, it has now been completely refurbished. It is double-glazed, heated by a multi-fuel room heater and oil-fired central heating. It also has limited Sky and Irish TV. There is a secure parking area for several cars with a solid wall and a lawned area, all with uninterrupted 180 degree views of Rinevilla Bay, the Brandon mountains across in Kerry, and the Shannon estuary.

AMENITIES There is a wide range of activities in the area including: golf, sailing, surfing (only for the brave), horse riding, fishing, walking, bicycleing Horse sales, Health spa and Dolphin watch at Kilrush, also a Sunday market at Kilkee.
